Dr. Carolina Otero has been working with children for over 15 years, creating innovative approaches and paving the way for success for all new parents who are struggling in connecting with their child. Dr. Otero looks at the child as a whole and looks at all the areas of the child such as: social awareness, self-management, relationship building skills, behavior modifications, decision making and independent skills, in order to create a more precise and tailored approach to the child’s and families needs. Doctor Otero holds a Bachelors in Education, a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Doctorate in Child Development. Dr. Otero loves to serve as an educator and parent coach to all families in the South Florida region!

Dr. Otero is a proud Early Intervention provider and works as an Infant & Toddler Developmental Specialist for the Broward County area. An Infant & Toddler Developmental Specialist is a person qualified by completion of an approved program in Developmental Therapy and where applicable credentialed by the state and practicing within the scope of the credential, or credentialed by completion of education experiences as approved by the state and practicing within the scope of that credential or, where state credentialing does not exist, certified by the Board of the Developmental Therapy Association. A developmental therapist evaluates children’s global development in order to identify areas of developmental delay whether arising from physiological, neurological, or environmental factors and designs, implements, and modifies therapeutic interventions for the child and the family to promote the child’s acquisition of skills in a variety of developmental areas. Dr. Otero provides consultation for the parents and other professionals working with the family on global development.
